I have released this Winter Solstice 2008 CD compilation to limited friends essentially as a christmas card; pagan-ly speaking: a winter solstice card!
Other than the "Jambient Anarchist" theme, none of this material is going to appear on the forthcoming commercially manufactured first second culture CD in 10 years. Although I have to reverse that statement a bit as i have come up with a completely different way that Iam looking at music, distributing music, and especially writing and producing. In this era of downloading music or even NOT downloading music, but just simply high speed access and massvie storage capibility like YOUTUBE have made music instantly accessible--- without a download. I cant tell you how many bands I have read about in fanzines over the years and have only recently just heard them via searches on you tube. "Brainticket" for example would be a wonderfull example of that. My point of reversing my statement was that fact that I have decided to combat this element of free music, by having so musc music available and in limited forms>
Enough babble on that>
I will provide examples in what you hold in your hand.
Jambient Anarchist-
a perfect example of what im talking about with this new way of creating music. this particulair version was edited for a performance I did at "The Inland Empire Raw food meet Up" Halloween Party, this version will likely appear under the name "BRAIN" on a forthcoming CD. This track appears in at least 18 forms since I initialially wrote the sequencer loops in April for performances at "The Bus Stop"..... the final live performance of this track was a summer solstice performance featuring a 4 hour version of said track by itself.
There are several "jam" studio versions of this track ..... One of which is likely to appear as the opening on a further release as "jamming on sunbeams thru trees". And then there is the "master studio cut": the 80 minute version, which well definitely be released on CD as a single cut, in its entirety of course.....
The first four titles are tracks I have created in the last 75 days; and if you take away "Secret Life" the remaining tracks were written and recorded since Nov 7--- For me, these tracks are important for me because I feel like they have discovered one of the most important voices I have found since discovering "the Schrittmacher" (analog styled 32 by 16 step sequencer, invented by friends of Klaus Schulze, and sold thru the international "boutique manufactured gear whore crowd; in America it is exclusively distributed by JESUS synth junkie Shawn Clearly and his delicious Analogue Haven). That new voice Ive discovered would be actual song writing, guitar, bass guitar, and my OWN voice.... And the feeling of writing lyrics however i want without thinking about anything but what I want to hear. Lyrics are appearing in repeating "mantra-like" forms, minimal Haiku styles, metaphysical, "personal politic" politics, and personal expression are central themed in larger lyrical pieces like "Living the Life"....
The track "Mind into Body" is only 2 days old as iam writing this.....
I consider these pieces quite possibly just workouts, like lifting weights with my creativity, they my quite possibly never appear again anywhere but here....
This IS a release by the way, although it be limited, it is actually getting numbered in the Second Culture catalog as SC005.
It is my opinion that the universe has delivered me to this point to become the most enigmatic sonick sculptor EVER... That is why at the super old age that Iam, It is only NOW possible for me to be able to deliver a sonick creative pallete subtle soft explosive sonick power that will be so insanely encompassing of the whole history of music with the knowledge only accesibile in this beautiful age of getting to know everything you want, if you want and soaring forward into a world of hybridization that is beyond comprehension as I make all of life filter thru my me and all of MY life as ONE within it: diet, other art forms, seeking expansive creativity from plant alkaloaid longevity enhancing, jing enhancing, ending toxicity, becoming one with the planet, becoming one with the true physiology of man, and finally shunning and ignoring "the death culture" on all levels, and that definitely includes glorifying the dark, deadly.dying and things like downward spirals, depression and finally the ugliest of all: RAPE; as it takes its forms in mental, spiritual, physchological, physical, domestic, ethnic , cross species and untimately the blatant and discusting rape of the planet as a whole.. Second Culture is all about upward expansion, nature, truth, the universe/god. nature magic. dreams. shamanism. PLANTS. health life/healthfood/ raw food/ indigenous/wild/pagan/ modern primitive/Organic/ancient/ alien intervention/ super foods/ super intelligence/new age/ positive/uplifting/aware..... awareness...and lust for life and longevity.....

Likely the last piece of music I will write in 2008......
The title speaks for it self: it is an anthem to keeping the body and mind as one:
"Do not remove- yourself from your self".....
I seek to explore every element of being healthy on this planet and being healthy TO the planet as well as generating inspiration to others about empower themselves and see the same hapiness and well being that comes from this path.
One thing I have noticed is that WHAT the majority of people have going on inside them as well as myself is the notion that the voice in your head is seperate from your body and further yet is the notion that the body does what it wants even if your mindfull, smarter inside voice knows better. Lack of follow thru with life changing disiplines is a number one example...
Ive been working on trying to be a lead guitarist of the capibility of some of the people I most respect: Manuel Gottsching, Steve Howe, Jerry Garcia, David Gilmour and John Fruscante. of most importance is Manuel Gottsching and the legacy of his legendary release "E2-E4". The guitar solo on this song while it has its flaws, is my best yet.... It is a single take straight thru --
2> Living The Life
This was my first step in moving outside my typical stuff....
It took me ten days to record this... and it is of TOTAL demo quality, but it is a complete landmark for me. First landmark is the fact that only the closing section has any synthesizers, and that is just noise, filter and LFO sweeps generated by a droning Pro One... The piece is all guitar, bass, voice, Quasimidi 309 drummachine, and the Roger Linn Adrenalinn.
It is lyrically the first time I have written a lot of lyrics that are genuinely personal and not a bunch new age metaphysical crap I usually write.
Its about personal empowerment, and definitely as reaction to the results of prop 8 in California.... Iam the 10%, the minority, fuck the self righteous, ill drowned you in how perverse Iam , and how much I love it and how much it empowers me....

Unfortunately this track was accidentally deleted in Sonar, but this version here was mastered for my own edification.... It was never intended for anyone to hear but i had to play it for my new musical friend Vincent Libretti a few weeks ago and he was very impressed, saying that it had a rawness like the Velvet Underground and Lou Reed. Im well aware of the legacy of both those entitys, but in reality I have never heard anything other than "Walk on the Wildside"... But the comments Vince made were definitely a reward since what I was really trying to reflect the work of one my new musical heros THIGHPAULSANDRA, more specifically the track on his first release "I, Thighpaulsandra": "Michel Publicity Window"
3> SECRET LIFE
I wrote this specifically to play at the Inland Empire Raw Foods Meet up group that I played at on Oct 25.
It was specifically written to include samples of lectures from raw good gurus : David Wolfe, Juliano, and Gabriel Cousens...
I also sampled myself by including a sample from "Indigenous Flower" from my second CD that also has a sample in it of Alan Watts.... A sample of a sample :-)
Iam very proud of this piece as it reminds of the ORB, especially with the lengthy closing sample of David Wolfe....
At it's grooviest it sounds like Depeche Mode jamming with the Orb with the beautifull step filtered step sequence coming from the Scrittmacher and Waldorf Q that appears throughout the piece---

very demo like quality...
Created in one evening; I did it after "Living The Life" and realized that my success' on it were not an accident...
Manatra like vocals, that were first take improvisation like one of my major vocalist inspirations Ricardo Acevedo who appeared on the first Second Culture CD...
The minimal preset beat from the Adrenalinn at the lengthy outro filtered and tweaked ebbing and flowing totally remind me, again, of the ORB on their "Orbus Terranum"..... One of my greatest unsung heros in my list of influences is without a doubt Kris Weston ("Thrash") of the ORB who was the (secret,unknown) mastermind behind the ORB's best releases (UFOrb, Pomme Fritz, and especially the holy grail of inventive electronica Orbus Terranum)... Awaken is definitely dedicated to Kris...
